Toshiki Masuda voices the male Rover in Wuthering Waves and recorded Ver.3.3 sessions for the game's second-anniversary story. He is also among the named attendees for Otomate Party 2026, whose advance lottery for the 9 R.I.P. sequel event opened on September 12.
Toshiki Masuda's recent coverage comes from two stories that describe different parts of his work, one behind a microphone and one at a ticketed event. In the Wuthering Waves story, Masuda speaks in an interview with Denfaminicogamer alongside Miku Ito, who voices Dania. Together they describe recording the game's Ver.3.3 update, the second-anniversary story. Ito said she screamed internally during the climax. Masuda was stopped by the director for being too intense. The interview gives no further milestones for his role as the male Rover, and no release window or platform detail for the update.
The other story concerns Otomate Party 2026, where the advance lottery for the 9 R.I.P. sequel event is offered to attendees. The event itself, OTOMATE LOGBOOK PAGE02, runs November 22, 2026 at Belsalle Takadanobaba. The lottery runs September 12 to September 20, with winners notified from September 26, and general sales follow on October 17. This is the only detail tying Masuda to the event cluster: he is named among the attendees. Neither story confirms a new role for him in the 9 R.I.P. sequel.
Across both stories, Masuda's current position is that of a working voice actor with a lead role in Wuthering Waves and a presence at a live Otomate event. The interview is the only source that describes his recording process. The lottery story is the only source that places him at Otomate Party 2026. No other project, format, or date involving him appears in the coverage so far.
