Trapped in a Dating Sim Season 2 Trailer Reveals Theme Songs and July 8 Premiere

Kadokawa released the second promotional video for the second season of the Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs anime on June 17. The video announces the opening theme song "Jinsei Endroll" by the music unit Ando, which includes Knight X member Shō Takeyaki, voice actor Daisuke Hirose, and producer ANCHOR. The ending theme song "Ashita wa Ashita no Que Sera Sera" is performed by the girl band MEISHOHIKOKAI. The second season premieres on July 8 on AT-X at 11:30 p.m. JST, followed by broadcasts on Tokyo MX and BS NTV. Streaming will be available on ABEMA and d Anime Store. Kazuya Miura returns as director at studio ENGI, with Kenta Ihara back on series scripts and Masahiko Suzuki again handling character design and chief animation direction. The season adapts the light novel series by Yomu Mishima, which ended with its 13th volume in March 2024. New cast member Yui Ogura joins as Hertrauda Sera Fanoss, younger sister of Hertrude.

The first volume of Tetsuya Saruwatari's new manga Tough: Second Chapter was released on May 19, 2026. The series continues the Tough franchise, set in Japanese mixed martial arts, and follows Kiichi Miyazawa as he enters the MMA ring to fulfill the dream of previous protagonist Ryusei.
