Tenkaichi Anime Reveals Teaser, Cast, Staff, April 2027 Debut

The television anime adaptation of the manga Tenkaichi: The Greatest Warrior Under the Rising Sun has revealed its first teaser promotional video, a teaser visual, main cast, staff, and an April 2027 debut. The announcement came on Thursday through the anime's official website and social media channels. The series is produced by studio Fugaku, with Masashi Abe directing. Kazuharu Sato handles series scripts, Ryoji Nakamori designs the characters, and Hayato Matsuo composes the music. The main voice cast includes Gen Sato as Miyamoto Musashi, Kenichiro Matsuda as Honda Tadakatsu, and Kenyu Horiuchi as Oda Nobunaga. The manga, written by Yosuke Nakamaru and illustrated by Kyotaro Azuma, launched in Kodansha's Young Magazine the 3rd in January 2021, then moved to Monthly Young Magazine in May 2021 after the former ceased publication. Kodansha's K MANGA service publishes the manga in English simultaneously. The story is set in 1600, ten years after Oda Nobunaga unified Japan, and follows his announcement that he will pass power to whoever brings him the strongest warrior. The first match pits Honda Tadakatsu against Miyamoto Musashi.

Shohei Ohtani 1/6 Scale Figure Opens for Preorder in Two Versions

McFarlane Toys and Blitzway collaborated on a 1/6 scale action figure of Shohei Ohtani in his Los Angeles Dodgers uniform. Preorders run until August 24, 2026. The lineup includes a DELUXE VER. with pitcher and batter parts and a STANDARD VER. focused on batting. Release is scheduled for December 2026.

Super Robot Wars Y Anniversary Expansion Pack Dated for August 5

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the paid DLC "Anniversary Expansion Pack: Accelerating Future" for Super Robot Wars Y during a livestream held on August 1, 2026, to mark the 35th anniversary of the Super Robot Wars series. The expansion is scheduled for release on August 5, 2026, with pricing still unannounced. The DLC adds 33 area missions combining the main story and frontline missions, along with combination attacks and additional weapons that cross the boundaries between participating works. The content takes place after clearing the main story, and in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, Gundam Calibarn appears as part of the Season 2 storyline. Sentinel Reissues RIOBOT Soulgain in Super Robot Wars A Colors

Yamato: The Eternal REBEL3199 Final Chapter Sets October 30 Release

The final chapter of the seven-part theatrical series "Yamato: The Eternal REBEL3199" will open in Japanese theaters on October 30, 2026. Titled "Chapter 7: Rainbow-colored Reincarnation," it concludes the remake of the 1980 film "Be Forever Yamato." The announcement was made on June 26, the same day that Chapter 6: Blue Labyrinth began its theatrical run. Bandai Spirits Releases 1/1000 Space Battleship Arizona Model from REBEL3199

Bandai Spirits has released a 1/1000 scale plastic model of the Arizona-class space battleship Arizona from the anime "Yamato yo Towa ni REBEL3199." The kit went on sale June 26, 2026, at a price of 13,200 yen. The model uses an entirely new mold to reproduce the hull shape, with fine detailing and molding. The main guns and secondary guns have movable barrels. Included effect parts recreate the positron shockwave of the main gun firing. An angle-adjustable display base allows for flight scene reproduction. The kit comes with water-slide decals for various markings and a foil sticker for the hull name on the base. Wrong Organ Announces Co-op Tank Horror Game Carcass Clad
