EPID Games CEO Michael stated at Bilibili World 2026 that the developer of Trickcal: Mochi Mochi Cheek Daiseen aims for IP expansion, including anime adaptation, after surviving three years. A global pre-release story is reportedly planned. The game's popularity in Japan was evidenced by a 1,000-person line at an Akihabara pop-up shop and sold-out collaborations. The booth featured characters Spicky, Commey, and Elfin. The developer also expressed interest in seeing doujinshi become a genre at Comiket.
