Uchu Nanchara Kotetsu-kun Film to Blend Anime With NHK, JAXA Footage
KADOKAWA announced a film adaptation of the web manga Uchu Nanchara Kotetsu-kun, titled Eiga "Uchu Nanchara Kotetsu-kun" Ukkari Detekita Uchujin o Sagase!, opening September 11, 2026. The original story combines re-edited anime footage with real space exploration footage from NHK and JAXA. The TV anime cast returns. The franchise also added Minamitane-cho as its fifth Space Support Ambassador municipality.
