Valve Ends Valve Index Production, Sets Remaining Stock At 20 Percent Off
Valve announced on October 14 that production of the Valve Index VR headset has ended. Remaining stock of headsets, controllers, and accessories is being sold at reduced prices in overseas markets, with the headset down 20 percent to $399.20 from its $499 launch price. Replacement controllers and tethers are also discounted. Japanese sales go through distributor KOMODO, where Index products are sold out.
