Funahashi said the goal was balancing comfort with lively communication, and he heard from about 100 attendees that shopping was easy and smooth.

New features included a real-time message board linking VRChat and the venue, plus first-time exhibitors like NuNuPC and Ichikara.
HIKKY announced the VketReal 2026 Summer Akihabara walking event, featuring a record 29 participating stores and projects, roughly double the previous event. The collaboration, called Town-wide JOIN Operation!, includes restaurants, karaoke, body care, live houses, and shisha bars offering limited menus, novelties, and benefits. A stamp rally is also planned.
