Weiss Schwarz Online is in development from Furyu and Lancarse for a spring 2027 release on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch. Bushiroad opened the Steam store page and wishlist registrations on September 15, 2026, ahead of a playable demo at Tokyo Game Show 2026.
Bushiroad announced a playable demo of Weiss Schwarz Online for Tokyo Game Show 2026, running September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe, with the demo at the Bushiroad booth in Hall 6 and covering both editions. The announcement framed the game as a digital adaptation of the physical Weiß Schwarz card game, which has run since 2008, and put its release in spring 2027 on Nintendo Switch and Steam. Eight licensed titles were named across the two editions.
On September 15, 2026, Bushiroad opened the Steam store page and started taking wishlist registrations. That update added development by Furyu and Lancarse and split the eight announced titles across the two versions. The Weiss Edition carries Aogiri High School, Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko, The Quintessential Quintuplets, and BanG Dream! MyGO!!!!!. The Schwarz Edition carries THE IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors, Sword Art Online, Touhou Project, and BanG Dream! Ave Mujica.
The Steam listing also set supported languages at Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Spanish, with a player count of one, or one to two in online matches. What the two stories settle is the release window, the platforms, the developer, the two-edition structure, and the demo. What remains open is the full card pool and any further title announcements. The store page and demo confirm that the game will arrive in spring 2027 with a fixed set of eight licensed titles across two editions rather than a single unified card pool.
