Drecom Reveals Wizardry VI SFC Port for 2027 on Steam
Drecom announced on September 15, 2026, during its Wizardry Day event, that the Super Famicom version of Wizardry VI: Bane of the Cosmic Forge will be ported and released in 2027. The port is handled by D4 Enterprise. The Steam wishlist page opened the same day, with price and full platform details to follow. The original SFC release was published by ASCII on September 29, 1995, and the Steam page describes the port as keeping its 1995 atmosphere, with 3D dungeon exploration and turn-based command battles. Drecom also confirmed four soundtrack albums are now streaming worldwide via Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music, distributed by Bandai Namco Music Live. Those albums collect music composed by Kentaro Haneda for earlier Wizardry entries. Merchandise includes signed reproduction art prints of new 45th anniversary art by illustrator Jun Suemi, apparel, a relief-style art board, and an upcoming collaboration with BEAMS MANGART.
