Saga of Tanya the Evil II Premieres July 8
The second season of the TV anime adaptation of Carlo Zen's military fantasy novel, Saga of Tanya the Evil II, will begin airing on July 8, 2026. Broadcasting starts on AT-X at 21:30, followed by TOKYO MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, BS11, and TV Aichi. Streaming will be available ahead of terrestrial broadcast on ABEMA and d Anime Store starting July 8, with other platforms following from July 11. The opening theme is MYTH & ROID's "Why? RED induction," continuing their role from the first season. The ending theme is "Weiter! Weiter!" performed by Tanya Degurechaff (voiced by Aoi Yuki), with sound production by Masayuki Nakano. A mini-anime, Youjo Shenki 2, will air after each main episode on AT-X and stream on YouTube. The season is set in autumn of unified calendar year 1926, with Lieutenant Colonel Tanya commanding the newly formed Salamander Combat Group. The cast includes Aoi Yuki, Saori Hayami, Shinichiro Miki, and others. Animation production is by NUT.
