The first episode of Yowayowa Sensei introduces Hiyori Hiwamura, a new teacher so shy she can barely speak. Her student Akihito Abikura discovers her in a compromising position and becomes her de facto handler. The premiere plays the teacher-student dynamic for lewd comedy while giving Hiyori the speech patterns of a toddler. The review finds the infantilization and repeated accidental nudity a turn-off rather than a draw.
