Yuta Momiyama appeared at New York Comic Con 2026 as Shonen Jump+ editor-in-chief, speaking on the MANGA Plus and K MANGA panel with Weekly Shonen Magazine deputy editor-in-chief Yuta Hiraoka and on a separate global manga platform editors session.
Yuta Momiyama's two Yomimono appearances both come from New York Comic Con 2026. The convention's guest list, published on September 14, 2026, listed him as Shonen Jump+ editor-in-chief and put him on a panel about MANGA Plus and K MANGA alongside Weekly Shonen Magazine deputy editor-in-chief Yuta Hiraoka. The convention runs October 8-11 at the Javits Center.
On October 13, 2026, a second story reported on a convention session where Momiyama of MANGA Plus, Nobuhiko Muranaka of Manga UP!, and Hiraoka of K manga answered questions about global readership. They discussed same-day chapter releases, app comment sections that let publishers and creators see overseas feedback, and Manga Academy programs that seek creators outside Japan. The story's take was that the feedback loop, not the release schedule, is what has changed in how manga reaches readers abroad.
Across the two stories, what is settled is Momiyama's role and public platform: he speaks for MANGA Plus as its editor-in-chief and appears at a US convention alongside a rival magazine's deputy editor. What is not in the stories is how MANGA Plus itself has changed, what titles it carries, or any schedule of its own. Coverage is limited to his convention appearances, so the record of him ends there.
