Takara Tomy will add five figures to its Transformers Age of the Primes line in late March 2027, with pre-orders opening Friday, October 2, 2026. Transformers AOTP-53 Guzzle is a fully transformable figure of a Wrecker, around 168mm tall and priced at 7,150 yen. AOTP-54 Cybershark is a Maximal who changes between robot mode and a shark beast mode, listed at the same price and roughly 206mm tall. The lineup also names Skygard, Autobot Breakaway, and Alpha Bravo, though the sources give no scale, price, or SKU details for those three. The Age of the Primes line builds its figures around the 13 Primes, the origin figures of the Transformers fiction, and has been working through Primes that had rarely been made as toys. Each figure ships with a dedicated weapon and poseable joints.
Guzzle is a Wrecker, and the character is rumored to have been given new abilities by the 13 Primes, which is why he carries sturdy armor and high-firepower weapons. The toy changes from tank mode into robot mode. Cybershark is a Maximal who fights well underwater, and his beast mode is a shark. Both entries are prototypes, so final specifications, shapes, and coloring can still change.
Skygard, Autobot Breakaway, and Alpha Bravo appear only as names in the announcement, with no set contents, height, or other product data given.
The same release window carries two other Transformers items from Takara Tomy. The Kiss Players 20th Anniversary Cassettron Set collects Rosanna, Glit, and Sundor, three Cassettrons whose character concepts and colors came from the performers of the Kiss Players radio project that ran from 2006 to 2007. The set costs 6,600 yen, stands about 55mm for Rosanna, 32mm for Glit, and 28mm for Sundor, and includes an acrylic stand and a character card with new art by designer Yuki Oshima.
AOTP-EX Powerlinx Red Alert and Mini-Con 8-Pack pairs Red Alert in Powerlinx-colored Super Mode at about 148mm with all eight Mini-Cons: Swindle, Sparkplug, Longarm, Mini-Con Leader 1, Mini-Con Hawk, Jackknife, Jetstorm, and Mini-Con Sonar. Jackknife, Jetstorm, and Mini-Con Sonar combine into the Star Saber weapon. The pack is 14,080 yen. The Kiss Players set and the Red Alert pack are T-SPARK ZONE distribution items.
