Takara Tomy Arts Sets Two Godzilla Gashapon Lines For October And November 2026
The two lines put Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, Gigan, Hedorah, and Mothra into Takara Tomy Arts' mascot formats a month before Godzilla-0.0, the 31st domestic entry in the series, reaches theaters in November 2026, so the capsule aisle and the cinema calendar are running on the same clock.

Takara Tomy Arts will release two Godzilla capsule toy lines in consecutive months. Katazun Fig. Godzilla ships mid-October 2026 with four figures: Godzilla (1984), Mechagodzilla (1974), Gigan (1972), and Hedorah (1971). Mugyutto! Godzilla follows in early November 2026 with Godzilla (1974), Gigan (1972), Hedorah (1971), and Mothra Larva (1961). Each play costs 400 yen including tax.
Both lines deform the monsters into palm-size mascots. Katazun Fig. is built around the pose of leaning on someone's shoulder and dozing off, and its four figures run roughly 45mm to 50mm; the Godzilla (1984) sculpt carries Shockirus on its tail. Mugyutto! is built around hugging something you love, so Godzilla (1974) clutches Mechagodzilla's head, Gigan (1972) holds Godzilla Tower, Hedorah (1971) holds a factory, and Mothra Larva (1961) holds the twin fairies of Infant Island. The capsules sell for 400 yen per play at vending machines in general merchandise stores and mass retailers nationwide. Takara Tomy Arts says a second Katazun Fig. wave is in the works.
