Why it matters
A Fist of the North Star artist in a Special Art Rare slot, plus a Pokémon Center run for the original art, puts the illustrator's name in front of collectors rather than only players.

The card appears in the Hado Seeker set, which launches on November 27. Hara said he hopes fans enjoy the art as much as the Palafin EX Special Art Rare he illustrated in December 2024. The original illustration goes on display at Pokémon Center MEGA TOKYO in Ikebukuro from November 30, 2026 to January 11, 2027.
Hara drew card art for Magic: The Gathering in 2023, and promotional art for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga and for McDonald's Japan. His manga credits include Fist of the Blue Sky, The Magnificent Bastard: The Legend of Keiji and Ikusa no Ko, and he sits on the board of Coamix Inc. The Maxie's Passion assignment puts that record behind a Pokémon Special Art Rare, the tier where the TCG sells the illustrator as much as the creature. The Palafin EX card he illustrated in December 2024 was the same rarity.
