The stop date is set for chapter 259 on Oct. 29, and TurtleMe's statement leaves the other end open. He wrote that he does not have answers yet about what comes next, and that he is still working to find them. The comic's publisher, Tapas, confirmed it will terminate all operations on March 31, 2027, and an FAQ published Oct. 1 says readers lose access to previously unlocked episodes and their comic libraries once the servers shut down. Ink purchases are already halted, though existing balances can be spent until the shutdown date. TurtleMe thanked readers who spent remaining Ink on the series and said he will keep doing everything in his power to continue the comic. He offered no timeline for a return.
