Netflix posted an English-dubbed version of the second promo video for The Ramparts of Ice season two, set to THE BEAT GARDEN's opening theme "Escort". The season premiered Thursday and airs Thursdays at 11:56 p.m. on TBS and 27 affiliated channels, streaming on Netflix and other Japanese services. Superfly perform the ending theme. Mankyuu directs at Studio KAI.
The new season keeps the 11:56 p.m. Thursday slot on TBS and 27 affiliated channels, the same arrangement the first season used before debuting globally on Netflix. Subscribers outside Japan get the dub trailer alongside the subtitled broadcast.
The staff stays close to what was announced for season two: Mankyuu returning as director at Studio KAI, Yasuhiro Nakanishi on series scripts, Miki Ogino designing characters, and Kanade Sakuma and Natsumi Tabuchi composing. Anna Nagase leads the cast as Koyuki Hikawa, alongside Shouya Chiba as Minato Amamiya.
