Episode 255 of TheOASG Podcast opens on website outages that put several Japanese companies into emergency maintenance, then moves to Netflix staff and layout changes. The hosts spend the licensing segment on two stacks of announcements, one from VIZ and one from Kodansha, and treat the delay of ELECEED to Spring 2027 as part of a pattern in Japanese-Korean productions.
Health and obituary items take up the middle of the episode: Jun Maeda's diagnosis, the deaths of Masako Watanabe and Hiroshi Tsuchida, and hiatus news for Go Go! Loser Ranger! and its artist.
