Tune In To The Midnight Heart Manga Goes On One-Week Hiatus
A one-week gap is minor on its own, but it puts a pause on a series whose volume releases and 2027 second anime season are running in tandem.

The 45th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine carries no new chapter of Masakuni Igarashi's Tune In to the Midnight Heart, with the magazine citing the creator's illness. Igarashi is focused on recovering, and the manga is planned to resume in the next issue on October 14. The series runs digitally in English through Kodansha's K MANGA service.
The announcement came in the magazine's 45th issue, the same week the chapter was expected. Igarashi's return is set for the October 14 issue, so the break runs a single cycle rather than an open-ended suspension. The manga launched in Weekly Shonen Magazine in September 2023 and its 14th compiled volume shipped on August 17. Kodansha USA Publishing handles the English release, which reached its ninth volume on September 1, while the K MANGA service carries it digitally. The television anime, adapted from the same series, premiered on January 6 and a second season is set for 2027.
