Universal Cool Japan 2027 Opens With Sailor Moon Attraction
The Sailor Moon 4-D attraction comes back for a fourth USJ collaboration and brings a second, still-undetailed ride with it, which tells you the park is treating the title as a repeat anchor for its winter slate rather than a one-off seasonal tie-in.

Universal Studios Japan's Universal Cool Japan 2027 begins December 2, 2026, and Sailor Moon is the first lineup announced. The 4-D attraction "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Miracle 4-D ~Moon Palace Edition Deluxe~" returns to Cinema 4-D Theater through April 5, 2027, alongside "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon x Story Ride" at Hollywood Dream - The Ride, whose details come later. Food and goods are planned.
The Sailor Moon 4-D attraction ran at past Universal Cool Japan events and now returns to Cinema 4-D Theater, using 3D imagery and environmental effects to put the Sailor Guardians within reach. The park describes transformation scenes and action staged in front of the audience. A second attraction, "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon x Story Ride," is set for Hollywood Dream - The Ride over the same window, with details held back. Both run December 2, 2026 to April 5, 2027.
