Wrong Organ Shows Co-op Tank Horror Sim Carcass Clad at gamescom 2026

Wrong Organ, the Swedish studio behind the cult psychological horror Mouthwashing, publicly showed its new PC game Carcass Clad for the first time at gamescom 2026. Set in the collapsed city of Volgorod, it puts three crew members inside the cramped tank Yuxia as commander, driver, and gunner, each seeing limited, different information. A single session runs about 2 to 3 hours.

The demo at the booth came with specially built props, including a periscope screen for the driver and a binocular-style device for the commander, which pushed the crew experience further into the game's fiction. Playing as the driver meant relying on a monochrome sensor monitor and a narrow forward view, while the gunner fired at a blurry reticle in the dark. The commander watched radar and instruments, calling out directions and threats by voice chat, but could not see the driver's view. Even following instructions, debris blocked paths and forced detours.

In the hands-on session, the Yuxia ran out of gas from excessive movement, the gunner's ammo dried up, and the tank was destroyed. The named crew, Kanerva, Erkki, and Taisto, hint at a story that may not be straightforward, in line with the studio's prior work. The game was only announced in June.
