Ghost Fixers ends less than three years after Tanaka began it on Shonen Jump+, at a point when his earlier Summer Time Rendering keeps generating adaptations of its own.
Reporting from 1 source: Anime News Network.
The 99th chapter of Yasuki Tanaka's Ghost Fixers manga on the Shonen Jump+ platform revealed on Friday the manga is ending in its next chapter. The final page incorrectly states the next and final chapter will launch on October 9, but MANGA Plus lists October 16. Tanaka launched the manga on Shonen Jump+ in March 2024. Shueisha published the seventh compiled volume on March 4.
Shonen Jump+ serializes Ghost Fixers, and its 99th chapter carried the announcement that the next chapter is the last. The chapter's own final page gives October 9 for that chapter, a date the schedule on MANGA Plus corrects to October 16. Tanaka started the manga on the platform in March 2024, and Shueisha shipped the seventh compiled volume on March 4. MANGA Plus publishes the series in English. Tanaka's earlier Summer Time Rendering, which ran on Shonen Jump+ from October 2017 to its 13th and final volume in April 2021, has its own adaptation history: a 2022 anime directed by Ayumu Watanabe, a live-action film set for Japan in 2027, and a game that launched on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in January 2023.
