Yowaki MAX Reijo Anime Casts Shizuka Ishigami as Young Rufus

Kadokawa announced on Friday that Shizuka Ishigami will voice Rufus Stan as a child in the television anime of Hiro Oda's light novel series Yowaki MAX Reijō nanoni, Ratsuwan Konyakusha-sama no Kake ni Notte Shimatta. The anime debuts in October, directed by Nobuaki Nakanishi at Jumondo, with Miku Ito as Pia Rockwell.

Shizuka Ishigami joins the cast of the Yowaki MAX Reijō nanoni, Ratsuwan Konyakusha-sama no Kake ni Notte Shimatta anime as the child version of Rufus Stan, the prime minister's son and the male lead. The announcement came with a streaming "visual video" featuring a voice drama titled "Aru Natsu no Hi no Futari" (Two People on a Certain Summer Day).

The romantic comedy follows Pia Rockwell, an ordinary grad student reincarnated as a 10-year-old background villainess in an otome game. Knowing the game ends with her engagement to Rufus called off and her banishment, she asks him to break it early, which only makes him more interested. He proposes a bet to see if he will call off the engagement in seven years.

Miku Ito voices Pia, with Ryota Osaka as adult Rufus. Rina Hidaka, Sora Amamiya, and Haruki Ishiya round out the cast. Nobuaki Nakanishi directs at Jumondo, with Hiroko Fukuda overseeing scripts. The light novel series began on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in January 2020, and the project has 1.2 million copies in circulation.
