Sakuna Games announced on October 1 that Sakunabirth, a raising simulation game starring and produced by VTuber Yuki Sakuna, will be released on March 11, 2027. The same day, the official website was renewed with new information covering the game system, a new story, and bonus details. Pre-orders open on October 8 at retailers nationwide and at Yuki Sakuna's official store. Supported platforms are Nintendo Switch and Windows, with distribution on Steam and DLsite. In the game, players raise the rookie VTuber Yuki Sakuna, with the stated aim of turning her into the ultimate VTuber, Archangel Sakunyan. An opening movie was also released alongside the date announcement and the site renewal, giving the first look at the production's presentation. The announcement confirms the project, first floated by the VTuber herself, has moved into a dated release.
The confirmed platforms are Nintendo Switch and Windows, the latter reached through Steam and DLsite. Pre-orders start Thursday, October 8, both at retailers nationwide and through Yuki Sakuna's official store, so the talent's own shop sits alongside conventional retail as a purchase channel from day one.
What the renewed site added is the substance: the game system, a new story, and bonus information. KAI-YOU's writeup frames the in-game goal as raising the rookie VTuber into the ultimate VTuber under the name Archangel Sakunyan. The opening movie, released with the date, is the first moving look at how that raising loop is presented.
The title has been referred to in Japanese coverage under both the romanized Sakunabirth and the spaced Sakuna Birth, and the talent's name appears in source material as both Yuki Sakuna and Sakuna Yuki. Both point to the same project and the same person.
