Why it matters
A 99,000 yen toy is the anniversary statement the franchise gets: Bandai Spirits is selling a no-parts-swap transformation and built-in lighting rather than a reissue, which prices it as a display piece for collectors.

The ship measures about 650mm long at roughly 1/2000 scale, transforms between fortress and attack modes without parts swapping, and carries light-emitting gimmicks in the bridge, chest and legs. It costs 99,000 yen with tax included.
The Daedalus and Prometheus separate from the main hull. The Daedalus opens its bow hatch and deploys ramps, and the set includes three Monster and five Tomahawk Destroids to stage a Daedalus Attack. Four VF-1 Valkyrie and Super Valkyrie craft at the same scale can be parked on the Prometheus deck, where their size sets off the length of the ship.
Lighting runs from the bridge through the chest and legs, and the residential block cycles from morning to noon to evening to night. Bringing the included Kelkaria craft's bow close triggers the light production, and the block can drop into emergency mode at random. Proportions were drawn from Kazutaka Miyatake's design drawings and illustrations plus footage from the series.
