CCPJAPAN Opens Pre-Orders for 25cm Hedorah Soft Vinyl in Two Versions
CCPJAPAN is taking pre-orders at the online shop Kadost for two BIG Retro Soft Vinyl Series Hedorah figures based on Godzilla vs. Hedorah.
Reporting from 1 source: Dengeki Hobby Web.
Why it matters
CCPJAPAN is reworking a monster it already sells at middle size into a larger, newly sculpted figure, and giving it a clear variant aimed at the soft vinyl collector side of the Godzilla audience.
Key Facts
- CCPJAPAN is accepting pre-orders for two Hedorah soft vinyl figures at the online shop Kadost.
- Both figures are part of the BIG Retro Soft Vinyl Series and stand approximately 25cm tall.
- Each version costs 20,900 yen including tax.
- Pre-orders at Kadost close November 4, 2026 at 23:59, with shipping scheduled for February 2027.
- The figures are painted PVC products made in Japan, with prototype production by Miyoshi Noru and paintwork by Sarutajira.
The Standard Ver. and the Psychedelic Clear Ver. each stand about 25cm tall, are painted PVC finished products made in Japan, and cost 20,900 yen with tax included. Pre-orders close November 4, 2026 at 23:59, with shipping scheduled for February 2027.
The two figures are sculpted entirely anew rather than scaled up from the middle-size Hedorah. The Standard Ver. reproduces the jagged patterning of the monster's eyes, and CCPJAPAN describes both sculpt and paint as worked up from the smaller release.
The Psychedelic Clear Ver. casts the figure in clear soft vinyl, a coloring CCPJAPAN ties to late-1960s psychedelic culture and Japan's soft vinyl toy culture. Prototype production is credited to Miyoshi Noru, with paintwork by Sarutajira. Both versions are priced the same and share the February 2027 shipping window.
