Cygames announced Sunday that U.S. visas needed for the Uma Musume: Pretty Derby 7th Event World Tour: The Stage shows in Los Angeles have not been approved. Staff say they have worked with U.S. lawyers and promoters for over six months. A final decision on whether the October 22 and 23 concerts at the Peacock Theater proceed will come by Monday, October 19 at 10:00 p.m. PDT.
The Los Angeles dates are October 22 at 8:00 p.m. PDT and October 23 at 7:00 p.m. PDT, both at the Peacock Theater. The cast includes Machico as Tokai Teio, Tomoyo Takayanagi as Oguri Cap, Rena Maeda as Grass Wonder and Hinaki Yano as Kitasan Black.
The tour opened in Tokyo on June 20 and 21. Further stops are listed for London, Seoul and Yokohama. The staff apologized for giving the announcement close to the event date and said they are coordinating with all parties to get the visas approved.
