K/DA Return With FIRESTARTER, Their First New Song in About Six Years

Riot Games released the music video for FIRESTARTER, a new K/DA song, on October 19. MIYEON and SOYEON of i-dle return as the voices of Ahri and Akali, roles they have held since the group's 2018 debut. Sophie Powers and Mimi Webb join as new members. It is the League of Legends virtual group's first original release since the 2020 EP ALL OUT.

The teaser posted on X opens in a dark, cathedral-like space and moves through red high heels, a figure in sunglasses, a close-up of a face in pink makeup, and the four members against a backdrop of pink explosions before the K/DA logo closes it.

The group debuted by performing POP/STARS at the 2018 Worlds opening ceremony. ALL OUT arrived in 2020, and no original songs followed until now. FIRESTARTER is out with a music video, and the vocal lineup is split between returning members and newcomers.
