Desktop Mate Adds IA DLC On October 15
Desktop Mate's IA DLC puts a virtual artist built for music production into a desktop mascot role, extending the character past her voice-synth catalog into everyday screen presence.

Infinite Loop will release the Desktop Mate DLC for the virtual artist IA on Thursday, October 15, 2026, with the Steam store page opening on Friday, October 9, 2026, and wishlist registration available now. The Windows- and Mac-compatible desktop mascot platform uses IA's official 3D model, with appearance motions, sitting and standing poses, VoiSona Talk "IA TALK" voice lines, and a petting response.
The IA DLC ships with her official 3D model, recreated in the pose from the package illustration of VOCALOID3 "IA -ARIA ON THE PLANETES-". Her appearance motion has her leap up inside orbs of light, land, extend both hands, and greet with "Hello! I'm IA." When she arrives from the screen edge, she peeks out with only her eyes before emerging.
Sitting and standing motions cover a plate of sakura mochi and a butterfly landing on her fingertip. Her long hair sways with wind expression, and rainbow-colored orbs of light sparkle around her. Petting draws a bashful look, heart effects, and spoken replies. Character voice comes from VoiSona Talk "IA TALK," including lines for clicking, grabbing, and alarms.
