FAKKU Teases Cosmic Psycho Revival After Dengeki Nurse Port
FAKKU is treating the PC-98 back catalog as a line rather than a one-off, and the Dengeki Nurse port is the test case that decides how far it goes.
Reporting from 1 source: Game Spark.
FAKKU posted an image of a Cosmic Psycho heroine on its official X account with the comment "Did you think that was it!?", hinting at a revival of the 1991 PC-98 adult sci-fi adventure game from Cocktail Soft. FAKKU announced a Steam port of Dengeki Nurse, released around the same time as Cosmic Psycho, in July. A Dengeki Nurse development diary followed on October 15.
FAKKU's post did not name a platform, a date, or a release window. It paired a Cosmic Psycho heroine image with the line "Did you think that was it!?", which reads as a follow-up to the Dengeki Nurse announcement rather than a separate pitch.
The order matters. Dengeki Nurse was announced in July for Steam, and a development diary published on October 15 argues for the port's value by way of period pixel art technique and the hardware differences between then and now. Cosmic Psycho, a Cocktail Soft adult sci-fi adventure from 1991, would likely come after that release.
