Keroro Gunso and Gundam Collaboration Brings New Illustrations and Gunpla
This marks a rare direct crossover between the two Sunrise franchises, with original art from both creators and a Premium Bandai Gunpla release.
Reporting from 1 sources: Inside.
A collaboration between the upcoming film "New Theatrical Version☆Keroro Gunso: Resurrection and Immediate Crisis of Earth's Destruction!" and "Mobile Suit Gundam" has been announced. Original illustrations by both series' creators and two collaboration Gunpla models will be released, with the film opening June 26, 2026.
Original creator Yoshizaki Mine and Gundam character designer Yasuhiko Yoshikazu each produced collaboration illustrations. Yoshizaki's piece homages the three poster visuals of the original Gundam theatrical trilogy, while Yasuhiko's shows Amuro, Char, and Keroro with linked arms.
Two plastic model kits will accompany the collaboration. The "Keroro Robo Mk-II (Titans Color)" will be sold at theaters screening the film starting June 26. The "RG RX-178 Gundam Mk-II (Keroro Spec)" will be available later through Premium Bandai.
New footage from the film shows Gundam appearing before the Keroro Platoon in a desperate situation and Char's Zaku standing as a new enemy.
- Keroro Robo Mk-II (Titans Color): sold at theaters showing the film from June 26, excluding some theaters
- RG RX-178 Gundam Mk-II (Keroro Spec): sold later on Premium Bandai
