Why it matters
The reissue reopens a limited kit that sold out before, and the shared red with the C02-URANUS makes the pair a planned build for V.I. series part swapping rather than a one-off paint variant.

The Mirage C01-GAEA Red Metal Ver. was sold as a limited item and was hard to find at the time, which is the reason Kotobukiya is bringing it back. The kit's red is the same color used on the Mirage C02-URANUS from the same series, so the two can be combined through the part compatibility of the V.I. series.
Hand parts come in grip and weapon-holding types, and an additional arm unit is included for posing. The 4,180 yen price includes tax. Reservations placed by December 1, 2026 are guaranteed to be filled ahead of the April 2027 release.
