OceanVeil Adds My Girlfriend's Friend To Fall Simulcast Slate
OceanVeil taking the simulcast alongside the Tokyo MX and BS11 broadcasts, plus a separate Deregula cut on AnimeFesta, splits the show's distribution across two versions rather than a single stream.
Reporting from 1 source: Anime News Network.
OceanVeil will stream the anime of Jura's My Girlfriend's Friend starting on October 4, the same day the series debuts on Tokyo MX at 25:05 (effectively October 5 at 1:05 a.m.). BS11 airs it on October 7. A "Complete Deregula" version streams on AnimeFesta from October 5, with the on-air version also carried there and on other services.
The show is directed by Takashi Andō at Quad, with WWWave Corporation credited as producer and its Deregula anime label handling production. Ryūga Nagaike voices Takeru, Sayaka Hashi is Kaori, Miki Hase is Tomoko, and Riho Sugiyama and Ryōka Yuzuki round out the main cast. Gokō Shiraki supervises the scripts, Ryūji Iwata designs the characters and shares chief animation director credit with Akira Koshiishi and Konatsu Kumagai.
