PSO2 New Genesis Ver.2 Adds Halloween '26 Event And Amulet Gear
The update bundles a month-long seasonal event, a revival Scratch tied to NGS's 5th anniversary, and a new Amulet gear slot into one maintenance window, which is how Sega is pacing live content between the anniversary and the November 4 reset.

Sega pushed an October 7 update to PSO2 New Genesis ver.2 that adds the Halloween '26 event, running until the November 4 maintenance. Central City gets Halloween decoration, the Region Mag turns pumpkin-shaped, and Xiemi appears as a costumed navigator investigating enemy movements in Halpha. The update also brings a new Amulet equipment category, two limited-time Scratches including the 5th Anniversary Thankful Oct, and the Haunted Domain II '26 Emergency Quest.
Sega's October 7 maintenance did more than swap in pumpkins. The Halloween '26 event runs through the November 4 maintenance, with Central City decorated, the Region Mag turned pumpkin-shaped, and Size Rappies and Trito Emperappy appearing in the field. Xiemi returns in Halloween clothing as the event navigator, framed as investigating enemy movements in Halpha.
Alongside the seasonal run, two limited-time Scratches open: the Halloween '26 SP Scratch, which carries the Weapon Camo items Fahren Armati and Clio Miracle Magic, and the 5th Anniversary Thankful Oct, a revival Scratch that draws on AC Scratch items distributed from September 2023 through January 2024. The new Emergency Quest, Haunted Domain II '26, sends players through Different-Attribute Mutants toward the deepest area.
