Sgt. Frog Anime Adds Five Cast Members, Reveals Both Theme Songs
The staff for Keroro Gunsō, the new Sgt. Frog television anime, streamed a second main trailer on Monday and announced five cast additions: Yuki Sakakihara as Fuyuki Hinata, Minori Fujidera as Natsumi Hinata, Sumire Morohoshi as Momoka Nishizawa, Hiiro Ishibashi as Mutsumi Hojo, and Koko Fukushima as Koyuki Azumaya.

Why it matters
The five additions fill out the Hinata household and its neighbors, meaning the supporting cast around the previously announced Keroro platoon is now set ahead of the October 3 premiere.
The trailer previews the opening theme by ano and the ending theme by PURPLE BUBBLE. The anime premieres October 3 on TV Tokyo.
The second trailer also carries both theme songs. ano performs the opening, "Kirai nochi Suki!" (From Hate to Love!), and PURPLE BUBBLE performs the ending, "Himitsu no Panorama" (Secret Panorama).
The anime airs on TV Tokyo and its affiliates starting October 3 at 9:30 a.m. Nobuhiro Kondo is chief director, Akihiko Sano directs at BN Pictures with production cooperation from Bridge and AISLE, and Toshimitsu Takeuchi oversees series scripts. The production uses an all-new cast, unlike the June film, which brought back actors from earlier installments.
