Splatoon Raiders Game Gets Manga Adaptation in July

The July issue of Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics magazine announced that Splatoon Raiders, a new single-player spinoff game in the Splatoon series, will receive a manga in the magazine's next issue on July 15. Sankichi Hinodeya, the writer and artist of the Splatoon and Splatoon 3: Splatlands manga, will also work on this manga. The game launches for the Switch 2 on July 23.

The manga for Splatoon Raiders will debut in the next issue of Coro Coro Comics on July 15, eight days before the game itself launches on the Switch 2. Sankichi Hinodeya, who has drawn the Splatoon and Splatoon 3: Splatlands manga, is writing and illustrating the new adaptation. The game puts players in the role of a mechanic traveling to the Spirhalite Islands with the Deep Cut trio. The Splatlands manga has been on hiatus since April 15; Shogakukan published its eighth compiled volume on March 27. Viz Media releases the series in English.
