Ryusei Yokohama stars in LOST10, a TBS Friday drama starting October 16, 2026 at 10 PM. Set in Hokkaido, the human suspense story follows the Shikaradake Incident, a mountaineering accident on a trekking tour. Shun Oguri plays a freelance insurance investigator, Anne Nakamura a stranded participant. The figure comes from a Siemens blog calculation, published in 2015, of the lift a cow would need to fly.

MBC Game Studio announced its debut title 1001 Threads of Mizan at Gamescom 2026's Opening Night Live. The co-op action-adventure supports up to three players and ships on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Creative Director Lars Bonde, who spent eight years at Ubisoft on Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2, told Automaton the game is set in the world of One Thousand and One Nights.

Developer Shobota published the Steam page for 'Zankure Bahamut de Maou Toubatsu' on September 30, with a demo also released. The television anime of Full Clearing Another World under a Goddess with Zero Believers began streaming its first promotional video on Wednesday, previewing the opening theme "Mirai no Ashiato" by 310. Riki Fukushima directs at HORNETS, with Tōko Machida on scripts and Noriko Itō designing characters. Sōhei Horikane voices Makoto Takatsuki and Ikumi Hasegawa voices Noah. Sankaku Head announced in a Saturday livestream on Niconico that Umaru-chan 100, a new series in the Himouto! Umaru-chan manga, will start on Shueisha's Young Jump+ platform on October 1. The original manga ran in Weekly Young Jump from 2013 to 2017 and inspired a 12-episode television anime in July 2015, plus a second season, Himouto! Umaru-chan R, in October 2017.

Turn 10 updated the Forza Code of Conduct on September 24, saying reported user-generated content goes into a single review queue and that the number of reports does not affect priority or position in the queue. A human moderator then decides the penalty based on severity and past violations. A first violation draws only a warning, with longer suspensions for repeat offenses, though content the support team defines as zero tolerance brings a permanent ban regardless of history. The Nagoya run of 100% Doraemon & Friends is set for late April to late August 2027, with Nagoya PARCO and other spots around the Sakae area as the venue. The Tokyo exhibition in Ariake drew more than 300,000 visitors and closed on September 30. Dates, venue details, and admission fees for Nagoya will be announced later.

The 1/14 Toyota GAZOO Racing GR010 Hybrid WEC is about 352 x 143 x 93 mm, has switchable speeds of 7-9 km/h and 9-11 km/h, takes five AA batteries in the body and two in the transmitter, and costs 14,080 yen. The 1/24 Ferrari 499P is about 208 x 85 x 58 mm and costs 5,478 yen. The 1/24 Volkswagen Beetle returns at 5,478 yen. All three are scheduled for release in October 2026.

At ECS 2026, held August 27 and 28 at a Tokyo hotel, AMD laid out its physical AI strategy and put a Unified Memory architecture at the center of it, with the NPU and CPU sharing one memory space and the GPU sharing the same pool. Chihiro Ikeda directs from a screenplay by Yo Saito, after directing the series with Noriaki Kosuge. Kohei Shoji plays Keishi Tanaka and Shunsuke Kazama plays Suzume Tojo. The series ran on TV Tokyo and other channels from July 4, 2025.

Double H Productions has released Tape 101: Liminal Descent, a psychological horror game set in liminal spaces shaped by the five stages of grief from Elisabeth Kubler-Ross: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Players use an RC car to enter ventilation ducts, gaps under doors, and crevices, collecting items and activating devices. Each chapter reflects one stage of the model. The game is available on Steam at 15 percent off until September 26.

Uoto, the artist behind Orb: On the Movements of the Earth, announced two new manga series across Friday and Saturday. Hallucination Meat will run in Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits, with a launch date still undetermined but expected this year. Test Taker/Cheaters, written by Uoto with art by Kyō Yoneshiro, will run in Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon, aiming for the start of next year.

TBS announced that Kouhei Matsushita and Michiko Ichikawa will appear in LOST10, the Friday drama starring Ryusei Yokohama. Matsushita plays Nobori, a company president in Hokkaido. Ichikawa plays Akane, a Tokyo insurance company employee. With the two additions, all 10 main characters have been announced, alongside Shun Oguri, Anne Nakamura, Marie Iitoyo, Satoru Iguchi, Kenji Iwatani, Kayo Noro, and Yuki Saito. Double H Productions will release Tape 101: Liminal Descent on PC via Steam on September 19, the studio announced in September. The psychological horror game sends players through liminal spaces built from repeating beige corridors, tiled passageways, and empty offices. Its main tool is a small camera-equipped remote-controlled car, which players drive into ventilation ducts and under doors to collect items and activate devices in places a person cannot reach. The developer says the spaces themselves work as puzzles: layouts shift as chapters progress, and players observe patterns to find a route forward. The world is structured around the five stages of grief described by psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, covering denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance, with each stage expressed as a location. Double H Productions is a two-person indie studio made up of Suversa and Nana. A free demo is available now on the Steam store page.

Automaton played a pre-alpha co-op demo of 1001 Threads of Mizan at gamescom 2026. The writer chose Malik, a tank who fights with a shield that splits into two. The flying carpet is the standout feature: it handles movement, evasion, attack, and teammate rescue, and it sits at the center of combat design. Three-player co-op against large bosses worked naturally without pre-assigned roles. The game is in development for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Release timing is undecided.

King Gnu vocalist and keyboardist Inoue Satoru will appear as pediatrician Yoshino in the TBS Friday drama LOST10, starring Yokohama Ryusei, starting in October. This marks Inoue's first regular appearance in a TV drama series. Actor Nolo Kayo joins as Chika, the older sister of Tabata, played by Iiboshi Marie.
