Hololive VTuber Juufuutei Raden has collaborated with the Taiwanese puppet series Thunderbolt Fantasy: Eastern Excalibur Sword Chronicles, resulting in a custom puppet modeled after her. The collaboration was announced during Raden's July 12 livestream, which also documented her visit to the Pili Puppetry studio in Taiwan. At the studio, Raden observed puppeteers' techniques, explosion effects, and filming on realistic sets. She also met the special puppet, named "Juufuutei Raden Version・Chōfū," which adapts the costume of the series character Chōfū with Raden's design. The puppet will debut at the "Taiwan Origin! Special Effects Puppet Theater World Exhibition" in Tokyo, running from July 25 to August 9, 2026, at Yurakucho Marui 8F. The exhibition celebrates the 10th anniversary of Thunderbolt Fantasy and features over 50 puppets, props, and weapons. Collaboration merchandise, including pre-order items and Raden puppets, will be sold at the venue. The exhibition also displays suit versions of characters Rin Setsuya and Shō Fuken. Raden, known for art and culture streams, expressed amazement at the puppet's quality, calling it "unbelievable and mysterious."
Crunchyroll announced on July 21 that Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood will begin streaming in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs on Crunchyroll India starting July 27, 2026. The dubbed episodes will be released in batches every three weeks, with the full rollout expected to conclude by October 2026. The voice cast includes Anubhav Rawat as Edward Elric in Hindi, Roshan N as Edward in Tamil, and Sai Abhijith S as Edward in Telugu. Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed three new squad members designed by original creator Tite Kubo for the upcoming smartphone game BLEACH Mirrors High. The characters are Naru Jurina, Giro Hando, and Maiko Tokishima. The game is set after the Thousand-Year Blood War arc and features an original story with newly drawn stills. A system trailer has also been released, showing customization options for the protagonist's appearance and name, as well as Zanpakuto customization. Publisher Senatis and developer Reakktor Studios launched Early Access for G-Rebels on Steam on July 21. The game is a dystopian open-world combat flight simulation set in the year 2684, where Earth has been nearly submerged by a great disaster. Survivors live in floating cities and fight over remaining resources. Players join an elite unit of the strongest city-state, piloting a glider called the Skyblade. The open world spans over 12,000 square kilometers, allowing free exploration of outposts, factories, and research facilities. Players can follow the main story or earn income through mining, bounty hunting, racing, and other jobs. The game supports VR for first-person flight. Early Access is planned to last about six months, with price increases as new content is added. The launch price is 3,080 yen (tax included) until July 28, after which it will rise to 3,850 yen. Japanese language is not currently supported. The developers aim to improve performance, controls, and combat based on player feedback.
Gameloft Godo Kaisha, the Japanese subsidiary of French game company Gameloft, was dissolved on June 30, 2026, according to a notice published in the official gazette on July 21, 2026. The dissolution was carried out with the unanimous consent of all members. The reason for the dissolution and its impact on titles currently available in Japan remain unclear. Gameloft, known for Disney Dreamlight Valley and the Asphalt racing series, has not issued a public statement on the closure of its Japanese arm.
