A Kobold Story: Trenchcoat Adventurer Developer Plans Sequel, Japanese Localization
Crystal Spider Games released the hand-drawn dungeon RPG A Kobold Story: Trenchcoat Adventurer on PC June 4. The game features three kobolds in a trenchcoat, a CrayonVision art style, and inspiration from 1985's The Bard's Tale. Developer Benjamin reports positive feedback, with players saying the game made them want to try other dungeon RPGs. An update adding controller support arrives August 15. A sequel, Trenchcoat Adventurer Vol. 1: Gone Rogue, launches July 22. Full Japanese localization is planned, with volunteer translators welcome.
