Dai Senryaku SSB2 Details Campaign Mode Ahead of Season 2
SystemSoft Beta revealed details on September 24 for Campaign Mode, the headline feature of the Dai Senryaku SSB2 Power-Up Kit DLC that arrives with Season 2 on November 26. Players pick one of 10 weapon production types and develop units like an RPG across five operation areas (Japan, China, North America, East Asia, Western Europe) for 30 maps in total. Units that survive a cleared map carry levels and experience forward as My Units, and each map offers a choice from up to 10 reward weapons. Destroyed My Units are lost permanently, so a strategic withdrawal that aborts an operation is available when victory looks unlikely. Two of the six maps in each area are open at the start, and clearing maps unlocks harder ones. The separate Australia DLC adds 21 weapons and 6 maps, among them the M1A2 SEP Abrams, AS21 Redback, Hobart-class destroyer, SEA 3000, and SSN-AUKUS. The free update released September 24 adds the scenario map Black Waterway: Panama Canal Battle and the free map Kowloon's Dragon.
