Umigame Studios released Dissolution of the Silent Union on Steam on July 28, 2026. The short horror visual novel follows two girls, Vera and Lena, trapped in the final day of a closed high school. The pair explore the building together, heading toward a promised place. The school's everyday scenery hides strange noise and anomalies. Players interfere with a distorted reality to uncover why the girls' quiet bond began to break. The story unfolds through monologue, fading memories, and information left in the background. Multiple endings loop back on each other, and seeing one ending unlocks the next layer of a hidden truth. The game's main feature is a collage-like visual style mixing hand-drawn illustrations, photographs, and pixel art. The Steam store page says this style draws from brutalism architecture and liminal spaces. Umigame Studios is a small Turkish developer founded in 2024. It releases work on Steam and itch.io, and an earlier browser and Windows version of the game is available on itch.io. The game costs 395 yen, with a 10 percent discount to 355 yen until August 12. It supports five languages including Japanese.
