The Glasses With a Chance of Delinquent anime has an April 2027 premiere on ABC TV and TV Asahi's Animazing!!! block and a confirmed lead cast. The adaptation of Naruki's manga is in production at Studio Flad and Wao World with Makoto Hoshino directing.
The Glasses With a Chance of Delinquent anime has moved from a staff announcement to a dated broadcast. A first teaser established that the adaptation of Naruki's manga would air on television in 2027, with Makoto Hoshino directing at Studio Flad and Wao World, Megumi Shimizu handling series scripts, and Ruriko Watanabe designing characters. A later teaser narrowed the window to April 2027 and named the broadcast home: ABC TV and TV Asahi's Animazing!!! block, with streaming on ABEMA to follow.
The same teaser filled in the main cast. Hiroto Shimizu plays Dan Ichikura, Suzuko Hara plays Hiro Momose, and Yuma Tomochika plays Ohana-chan. That cast list and the directing and writing team are the concrete production details confirmed so far; no full trailer has been described.
On the publishing side, Seven Seas Entertainment releases the manga in English, as stated in the staff announcement. A July 7, 2026 manga review column from Beneath the Tangles covered seven new volumes including Dandadan Vol. 19, Hima-Ten Vol. 1, and Victoria of Many Faces Vol. 3, but does not address Glasses With a Chance of Delinquent.
Coverage of the anime comes from two teasers reporting the production bench and the April 2027 date. The series has a premiere window, a broadcast block, a streaming outlet, and a lead cast, but nothing beyond that has been confirmed.
