Brigandine Abyss Launches Today on Switch 2, PS5, Xbox, Steam

Happinet released Brigandine Abyss today, August 27, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. The turn-based strategy game is the latest entry in the Brigandine series, set on a continent divided among 25 factions. Players lead one of six factions, form armies with over 100 knight and monster units, and fight on hexagonal fields with elevation differences. The standard edition costs 9,020 yen (tax included) for both physical and download versions, while a Limited Edition with a character visual book and original soundtrack CD is 18,480 yen (tax included) for the physical version. Free demos are available on each platform, letting players play up to the second chapter of the Gran Dragunica and Scarlet Will scenarios. A commercial featuring producer Masaru Saito hoisting yellowtail and sea bream returns after six years, airing on FamilyMart's Famima TV until September 7. Saito will also appear on a Dogma Kazami YouTube live stream on August 29. The game will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2026 from September 17 to 21, with an AR monitor event diagnosing recommended factions.

Happinet Brings Three Titles to Tokyo Game Dungeon 13

Happinet will exhibit three titles for trial play at the indie game exhibition Tokyo Game Dungeon 13 on August 8, 2026. The adventure game 'Tokyo Stories', developed by Dricom, uses pixel art and 3D visuals and is set in a deserted Tokyo. Also playable are the RPG 'Artis Impact' and the action ADV 'Mononoke no Kuni'. 'Artis Impact' launches on Switch on September 17, 2026, while 'Mononoke no Kuni' is planned for Steam in 2027.
