Yowaki MAX Reijo Anime Reveals October Debut, More Cast
The television anime adaptation of Hiro Oda's light novel series "Yowaki MAX Reijō nanoni, Ratsuwan Konyakusha-sama no Kake ni Notte Shimatta" will premiere in October 2026, Kadokawa announced on Saturday. The announcement came alongside the release of the first promotional video, the main staff, and three additional cast members. Rina Hidaka joins as Caroline Ramsey, Sora Amamiya as Erin White, and Haruki Ishiya as Henry Cox. Nobuaki Nakanishi is directing the series at studio Jumondo, with Hiroko Fukuda handling series composition, Hyun Sik Choi designing characters, and Moe Hyuga and Natsuki Hamada composing the music. Miku Ito voices protagonist Pia Rockwell and Ryota Osaka voices Rufus Stan, reprising their roles from the novels' voice drama and the manga's voice comic episodes. The story follows a grad student reincarnated as a 10-year-old villainess in an otome game who tries to break her engagement early, only to have her fiancé propose a bet instead. Oda began the story on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in January 2020, and Kadokawa published the seventh novel volume in April 2024. The manga adaptation by Aji Murata released its fifth volume on February 16.
