SK Studios announced on July 28 that its co-op dungeon crawler Ignite the Depths has reached 15,000 Steam wishlists within 72 hours of its announcement on July 24. The game is a first-person hack-and-slash action title where players explore dungeons solo or with up to four players in online co-op. Players choose from four classes, including a magic-focused ranged class and a melee class that can parry enemy attacks. The dungeons span three dimensions and include boss battles, puzzles, and parkour sections. Treasure chests may be traps, and in-dungeon shops let players purchase random buffs. The game supports Japanese and is scheduled for a 2026 release. The developer discussed the wishlist growth on Reddit's r/gamedev, attributing it to the game's retro-style visuals, a marketing push on TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube, and a trailer that took about 20 days to perfect with a composer. The trailer was featured by indie game media outlet Indie Games Hub and gained up to 130,000 views on some posts. The Steam store page is accepting applications for the first playtest.
