Synthesized from 28 Yomimono stories · updated Jun 18

Illustrator lack has been working with Prime 1 Studio's PRISMA WING line on a series of 1/7 scale figures based on original illustrations of Piapro Characters. In May 2026, PRISMA WING opened pre-orders for a MEIKO figure, capturing the character in a relaxed off-stage pose on a neon-lit hexagonal base. The figure was priced at 27,998 yen at Rakuten Books. In June 2026, the line expanded with a KAITO figure, also based on original art by lack, now available for pre-order at Kadostore for 32,890 yen until July 9, 2026, with a scheduled release in August 2027.

Both figures share a hexagonal base design that allows collectors to connect multiple characters from the series. The collaboration between lack and PRISMA WING has produced at least two figures as of June 2026, with no further figures announced. The MEIKO figure's pre-order period and the KAITO figure's pre-order window overlap, suggesting the line is being released in quick succession.

No other projects involving lack are mentioned in the available stories. The artist's work on these figures represents the extent of current coverage.

MGSD Wing Gundam Zero EW Gets Structural Coating Black Version

Bandai Spirits is releasing a special edition of the MGSD Wing Gundam Zero from Mobile Suit Gundam W: Endless Waltz, featuring a new manufacturing technique called Structural Coating. The kit, named MGSD Wing Gundam Zero EW [Structural Coating/Black], changes all outer armor to black and gray molded colors. Internal parts use Structural Coating, a process that creates iridescent colors visible through gaps in the dark armor, similar to the surface of soap bubbles or CDs. The effect varies by viewing angle, and no two kits will have the same finish due to the processing. The wings have a five-layer structure with individual articulation, and when deployed, they expose internal structural coating plating and clear parts with reflection-cut processing. Langrisser: Sea of Swords Announced as Free-To-Play New Entry

Hong Kong GameTree and BlackJack Studio announced a new free-to-play Langrisser title, Langrisser: Sea of Swords, on July 16, 2026. The game will launch on PC via Steam, iOS, and Android. A gameplay PV was released on July 22. The story follows a nameless protagonist who, guided by fragmented memories, enters a vast empire alongside a white-haired girl named Eta. The narrative focuses on power struggles among factions rather than a traditional hero's journey. The battle system evolves the series' unit mechanics into a two-hero, two-soldier-type formation, where players assign a captain and vice-captain and can switch soldier types mid-battle. Specific hero pairings trigger cooperation skills. Battlefields feature destructible terrain, including walls and bridges, and height differences that affect tactics. Exploration shifts from stage-by-stage progression to a continuous 2D world where players visit towns, forests, and caves. A base system starts as a muddy campsite and develops into a fortress. The hand-drawn art style and orchestral score by Yasunori Nishiki, known for Octopath Traveler, support the presentation. Pre-registration opened on the official website on July 16.
