Crunchyroll Adds Mashle Season 3 For January 2027
Crunchyroll announced on October 28, 2026, that it will stream the third season of Mashle: Magic and Muscles, subtitled The Tri-Magicathlon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc, beginning in January 2027. The announcement came with a trailer and promotional art. The new season continues Mash Burnedead's attempt to become a Divine Visionary at Easton Magic Academy without using magic. A-1 Pictures returns to animate, with Tomonari Tanaka directing and Yosuke Kuroda handling series composition. Masaru Yokoyama returns to compose the music, and Chiaki Kozumi takes over character design. Chiaki Kobayashi, Kaito Ishikawa, Reiji Kawashima, Reina Ueda and Takuya Eguchi are listed as returning cast. Crunchyroll will carry the season worldwide except Japan and China, non-exclusively in Southeast Asia and exclusively in India. The first two seasons aired 12 episodes each, in April 2023 and January 2024. The series adapts Hajime Komoto's manga, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from January 2020 to July 2023.
