Wakama Hi El is ending her activities with the Sanrio VTuber group, with her membership plan and content ending October 31; the group's merchandise and Wakamagi Taruto birthday sales continue at Sanrio retail and online.
Nyantajia! is a Sanrio VTuber project operated by ClaN Entertainment and Sanrio. Two recent stories cover different members and different points in the project's run: Wakamagi Taruto's birthday merchandise in early September 2026, and Wakama Hi El's October 14 announcement that she will end her activities.
The Taruto story is a retail update. Her birthday goods went on sale after her September 2 birthday, with an advance order window through September 9 on the Sanrio Anime Store ONLINE shop. The 6,600 yen event ticket set includes an acrylic panel with foil-stamped signature and aurora finish, a glitter can badge, and a two-piece bromide set with one reproduced handwritten message, and it carries entry to an online special event on September 26 from 13:00 to 16:00. A separate 2,750 yen tumbler is also available. Regular sales begin October 23 at 11:00 at the Sanrio Anime Store Ikebukuro P'PARCO location and online. Taruto held a birthday commemorative stream on her official YouTube channel at 20:00 on September 2.
The El story closes a membership. El debuted in May 2024 as a second-generation member, performing in game streams and posting cover song videos. The announcement says a magic effect that gives her a human form will wear off, returning her to her original cat form. Her membership plan and various content end October 31, while past social media posts and streaming archives on YouTube and Twitch remain available. Merchandise at the Sanrio Anime Store and BOOTH stays on sale while stocks last, with birthday commemorative goods ordered from November 5 and no general sales planned. A gaming keyboard and glass mousepad announced by Rabbit0 will still be released as planned.
