Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' is in its final promotional push ahead of a September 11, 2026 release. The film, an adaptation of the ancient Greek epic, stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Zendaya, and Charlize Theron. It is the first feature film shot entirely with IMAX film cameras, a goal Nolan has held since age 16. Universal released 'The Odyssey: Defy the Gods,' an official Roblox game rated 18+, and IMAX sold a $50 popcorn bucket shaped like the film camera, which sold out quickly after June 4.
