Oshi no Ko Puzzle Star is in a steady cycle of limited-time gacha and event content run by KADOKAWA, with the most recent pickup running from October 1 to October 16 and featuring newly drawn Kana Arima and Ruby costumes. Card art for the game's original costumes continues to be supervised by the anime's character designer and chief animation director, Kana Hirayama.
Since June 2026, Oshi no Ko Puzzle Star has run a near-continuous schedule of limited-time pickup gachas and in-game events. KADOKAWA opened the second round of Dream Parade on June 1, then the Rainy Drops pickup on June 16, with Akane Kurokawa and Ruby in special costumes. A Like Pass accompanied the Rainy Drops run, and the Idol Step event began June 17. The Raindrops Part 2 pickup followed on July 1 with newly drawn Kana Arima and Ai cards, and the Cafe Chocolat event started July 2.
The pattern holds through the summer. The Summer Splash pickup ran from July 16 to August 1 with original-costume cards for Ai and Ruby, and a paid Like Pass offered Ai's costume set. A Word Collection event ran until September 16. From August 17 to September 16, KADOKAWA ran a half anniversary campaign whose first part added newly drawn Ruby and Aqua cards, alongside a login bonus granting up to 30 pulls and two additional cards, plus X campaigns offering gacha items and signed color papers.
The most recent pickup opened October 1 and runs to October 16 at 10:59, featuring Kana Arima and Ruby in costumes newly drawn for the game, with two rounds planned and a Like Pass running to November 1 at 10:59. Across these stories, the card illustrations are consistently supervised by Kana Hirayama, the anime's character designer and chief animation director. Two stories note that the anime's fourth and final season is in production. That is the state the coverage leaves the game in: recurring gacha drops with original costume art overseen by the anime's own designer, plus a parallel event and pass schedule.
